73, Prime Brook It is with deep regret that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Kenny Dunn, which occurred on Sunday, May 11, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Daniel and Pearl (Peddle) Dunn. He was employed with the Department of Transportation until his retirement. Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Grace (Bryanton) Dunn; two sons, Glen Dunn (Stephanie MacPhee), Terry Dunn (Heather Mahan); sister, Millie (Eric) Lordly, Howie Centre; brother, Gordon (Lillian) Dunn, Prime Brook; sister-in-law, Emily Dunn, Mira Road. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lyn-Ann (Wayne) Bessant, Halifax, Matthew Dunn (Jessie), Moncton, N.B., his four precious great-grandchildren, Alexander, Norman, Terry and Hayden, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Margie, Vivian, Rose and brothers, Gerald, Arthur and Wallace. Visitation will take place today (Tuesday, May 13, 2008) at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment to take place in Hardwood Cemetery, reception to follow at Chant’s Funeral Home.
