M. EVELYN QUILTY
QUILTY, M. EVELYN - The death of Mrs. M. Evelyn Quilty of St. John St. Stephen Nursing Home, wife of the late John Quilty, occurred on Wednesday April 10, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, February 27, 1911, where she resided all her life. Evelyn had worked as a cook for the Riveria Restaurant, was a member of the Elizabeth Fry Society, and was an active member, and C.W.L. member of St. Peter's Church. She is survived by one daughter, Julie M. Mrs. Daniel Sears of Saint John, two stepdaughters, Ann, Mrs. Charles Swain of Saint John, and Frances Quilty of Calgary, AB, stepson, Charles Quilty of Alberta, three grandchildren, Arthur D. Sears (Kimberly), Maureen Hanlon (Brian), and Darren Sears (Judy), four great grandchildren, Victoria and Allison Hanlon, and Jessica and Kyle Sears, and step grandchildren. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., from where the funeral will be held on Saturday morning 9:40 to St. Peter's Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 o'clock. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or St. Peter's Church Fund would be appreciated by the family. Visiting hours on Thursday 7 to 9 and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
