62, Glace Bay We, the family of Martha Wilson, regret to announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the Glace Bay Health Care Complex, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Michael Juskie and Annie MacLean. She was employed with the Cape Breton Regional Municipality until she retired in August 2006. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who was always willing to help others in need. She loved dancing, going for drives and a good laugh. Martha was a longtime volunteer with the Vince Ryan Memorial Tournament. She was a member of Immaculate Conception parish, Bridgeport. She is survived by her son, P.J. (Toni) Wilson; daughter, Sharon; grandson, Noah Alexander; granddaughters, Hanna Marie and Kayla Dawn; sisters, Margie, Anna (Cyril) Fillmore, Mary Lou (Danny) Byrne; brothers, Michael (Ann), Edgar (Lynn); the Wilson family; nieces and nephews and special sister-in-law, Trudy. She was predeceased by her husband, George in 1993 and her brother, Peter. Visitation is Sunday, May 25, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, May 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Leo Boone officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
