DIGGLE, ARTHUR IAN - The death of A. Ian Diggle occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 20, 2002. Born in Saint John on September 10, 1948. He was employed at General Freight Carriers of Golden Grove Road as a Safety and Compliance Officer. A lover of big trucks, Harley Davidson's, back roads and sunshine; he had a big heart and strong convictions. Survived by companion Karen Spellman of Wells, his mother Marjorie Diggle of Rothesay, son Christopher (Kelly) Belzil of Woodstock, two brothers David (Debbie) of Montreal and Philip (Nina) of Gondola Point, one granddaughter, four aunts, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Arthur Diggle. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday, April 22, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at 1: 00 PM. Following cremation interment will take place in St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Gondola Point. Remembrances may be made to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
