FORTUNE, M. CONSTANCE - The death of Miss M. Constance Fortune of Rocmaura Nursing Home occurred at her residence on Tuesday, April 23, 2002. Miss Fortune was born in Gary, Indiana, a daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Quinlan) Fortune. She had resided the greater part of her life in Hyannis, Mass. before returning to Saint John in 1980. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Frank and Douglas Fortune; and one sister, Emma Fortune. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Betty LaRocque of Saint John; one brother, Cecil Fortune of Detroit; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., from where the funeral will be held on Friday morning at 9:45 to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for Mass of Christian Burial at ten o'clock.
