FOWLER, MILDRED A. - The funeral of Mildred A. Fowler of French Village, widow of K. Russell Fowler, was held April 23, 2002 from Reid's Funeral Home, Hampton, to St. Andrew's Anglican Church, French Village. Rev. Ed Coleman officiated. The organist was Helen Boyd. A reading was by Susan Koval and the eulogy was by Anita LeBlanc. The honorary pallbearers were: Nathan Fowler, Vance Fowler, Frank Fraser, Doug Scott Jr., Don Langstroth, Andrew Kellar and Bill Koval. The active pallbearers were: Derek Curbishley, Mark Curbishley, Jeffrey Kilpatrick, Richard Kilpatrick, Kevin Fowler and Albert Fowler. There were numerous floral tributes. Donations were made to St. Andrew's Church; NB Heart and Stroke Foundation including one from Management and Staff of C.F.M.; Canadian Cancer Society including one from East Can MacKay Consultants; St. Mary and St. Bartholomew's Church; Dr. V.A. Snow Centre; UNICEF; Hospice of Saint John including one from Staff and Volunteers at Hospice; VON saint John; Children's Wish Foundation and ALS Society.
