O'REILLY, BETTY ELIZABETH ISABELLA - The unexpected death of Mrs. Betty Elizabeth Isabella O'Reilly, wife of Michael D. O'Reilly occurred on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at her residence. Born in Salmon River, NB, she was the daughter of the late David and Beatrice (Fulton) Glenn. While living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Betty worked for the Ray-O-Vac Company and the National Canadian School Studio, she developed an interest in ceramics and pottery while living out west. She and her husband spent many hours working together at their store in Milford, B & M Variety Store and were caretakers at the BYNG Boys Club in Milford. She also worked at the Riviera Restaurant. While Betty loved her woodworking her greatest passion was for her varied collection of dolls. Besides her husband, Betty is also survived by her only daughter Donna (Gerry [Scary]) Richard of Grand Bay, NB, her brothers: Joseph (Shirley) Glenn, Brown's Flat, NB, and Matthew (Maureen) Glenn, Minto, NB, her seven sisters: Nancy (Stuart [Bucky]) Buckley, Saint John, NB, Ruby (Willy) Mott, Echo Lake, NS, Maudie (Reggie) Kilfillen, Chipman, NB, and Hazel (Johnnie) Raimondo, Wanetta (Victor) Copozzi, Linda Glenn and Connie Glenn all of Montréal, PQ., four grandchildren; Jason Phillips, Michael O'Reilly, Melissa and Stacey Charters, four great-grandchildren; Benjamin, Colton, Anastacia, Alyssa, brother-in-law, Andy Lacelle, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Betty is predeceased by her son David O'Reilly, great-grandson, Baby Anthony Polley and her sister, Mary Lacalle. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB. (506-634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday only in Saint John from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Thursday at the Chipman Funeral Home, 28 Northrup Drive, Chipman NB, (506-339-6612) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be from the Chipman United Church on Friday at 2:00 PM with interment at Red Bank Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. www.brenansfh.com
