BERNIER, LUCIEN - At his residence, June 7, 2002 Mr. Lucien Bernier of Drummond passed away at the age of 66 years. He was the husband of the former Cecile Leger. Born at Drummond in 1935, he was a son of the late Arthur and Eva (Cyr) Bernier. He is survived by his wife, and four daughters, Mona Gagnon (Marcel) of Florenceville, Therese Langlais (Paul) of Drummond, Pauline Vaillancourt (Alyre) of Saint-Andre, Sally Michaud (Ricky) of Grand Falls, Three sons, Aubrey (Laurette) and Billy both of Drummond and Paul (Karine) of Saint-Andre, Three Brothers Jos (Jeannine), Noel (Simone), and Gaetan (Jeannine) all of Grand Falls, and Three sisters, Wilda Roy (Raymond), of Beresford, Rita Michaud (Pius), of Portland, Me. and Marie Poitras of Grand Falls, eight grandchildren, Pierre, Brigitte, Marc, Julie, Annie, Lisa, Todd and Tanya, as well as several nieces and nephews.. He was predeceased by one brother Louis (Viola) of Drummond. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd, Grand Falls, with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9-11 a.m. His funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church Drummond, with Father Ivan Theriault officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
