VAUTOUR, ELVINA - Elvina Vautour (1923-2002) passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Friday, June 7, 2002, at the age of 78 years. Born in Cap St. Louis, she was the wife of the late Edmond Vautour, and the daughter of the late Jacques Fontaine and Delima (Doucet) Fontaine. She was a resident of St. Louis de Kent and attended the St. Louis de Francais R.C. Church in St. Louis de Kent. She is survived by four daughters, Marie Blanchard (Rheal), Alphonsine Kelly (Walter), Angella Gray (Ernest), and Lise Maillet (Roy); five sons, Hubert (Bernice), Roger (Lucille), Ovila (Clairette), Edmond (Maria), and Maxime (Michelle); three sisters, Alice Richard, Jeanna Arsenault, and Delima Duplessis; four brothers, Arcade, Conrad, Euclide, and Alcide; as well as 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Domine Arsenault, Emma Guimond, and three brothers, Hubert Fontaine, Jacques Fontaine, Henri Fontaine. Remains are resting at the Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent, with visitation on Saturday, 7-9, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 and Monday from 9 a.m.until the time of the funeral. Funeral mass is scheduled for Monday, June 10th, 2002 at 11 a.m. at St. Louis de Francais R.C. Church, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
