BARBAZA, NESTOR - The death of Nestor Barbaza of Rocmaura Nursing Home occurred at his residence on Saturday, June 22, 2002, on his 103rd birthday. Mr. Barbaza was born in Austria, a son of the late Yvonne and Maria (Belouse) Barbaza, He had resided in Saint John since 1940 where he had been manager of Careful Window Cleaning until his retirement a number of years ago. He is survived by one brother, Fr. George Barbaza of Romania; one nephew, John Katruk (Jackie) of Edmundston; and three nieces, Dora, Mrs. J. Burton Guidry, and Mrs. Anna Hackett, both of Rothesay, and Mary Barbaza of Sarnia, Ont. A private service was held at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
