LEAVITT, MRS. AUDELLA EDITH - Peacefully at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on June 24, 2002, Mrs. Audella Edith (Hooper) Leavitt of Back Bay, NB wife of the late Murray Ellsmore Leavitt. Born in Back Bay, NB on August 13, 1911, she was a daughter of the late James and Bertha (Mitchell) Hooper. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by one daughter, Marjorie Tucker of L'Etete, NB, nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one sister, Bertha Hatt of Back Bay; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Earl, Percy and James and four sisters, Lettie, Sadie, Elizabeth and Addie. In her earlier years, Mrs. Leavitt had worked as a sardine packer for Connors Bros. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a member of Seaview Full Gospel Church. Resting at Seaview Full Gospel Church in Back Bay from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 5: oo PM. Interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the Church on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM and on Wednesday from 4 to 5 PM. Donations to the Fundy Nursing Home or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
