Peter 'Cuts' Gouthro

64, New Waterford/Halifax Peter, the son of the late Marcella (Young) and Peter Gouthro (New Waterford), died June 1, 2008. He is survived by his sister, Lydia (Peter) MacNeil, nephews, Craig and Peter Jr. and grandniece, Hayley, all of Massachusetts. Peter spent most of his life in Halifax and was a devout member of St. Mary’s Basilica, where he assisted with mass every day for 15 years. A mass in his honour will be celebrated in St. Leonard’s (Mount Carmel), New Waterford, at a later date. Interment in Mount Carmel Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff of Glades Lodge for their kindness and care of my brother and to Art and Annete Petrie for always being there for him. Arrangements entrusted to Dartmouth Funeral Home and to V.J. McGillivray’s Funeral Home, New Waterford.
