McGOUEY, NORMA C. - The death of Norma Caroline (Maxwell) McGouey, of 3 Fallsview Avenue, Saint John, wife of William McGouey, occurred on Saturday, June 29, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Leola (McCarroll) Parfitt of Saint John and the late Royal Parfitt. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by five sons, Stephen Maxwell (Frances) of Garnett Settlement, Gary Maxwell of Saint John, Kevin Maxwell (Fay) of Saint John, Mark Maxwell of Halifax, NS and Scott Maxwell (Shelley) of Moncton, one daughter, Wendy Lee Maxwell of Saint John, eight step-children, one brother, LeRoy Parfitt of Ontario, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one niece and two nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at 10:00 AM.
