CARR, DONALD R. - The death of Donald Robert Carr of Tippett Drive, husband of Isobel (Preston) Carr occurred on Saturday, July 13, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Clarence and Caroline (Pollock) Carr. Donald was employed as a machinist with J.D. Irving for 23 years and Fred J. Williamson for 20 years. A Naval Veteran of WWII, following the war Donald joined the Reserves. He is survived by three sons D. Wayne Carr of Northampton, NB, Robert D. (Susan) Carr of Saint John and Christopher M. Carr of Saskatchewan, one daughter Diana L. (Raymond) Morgan of St. John's, NF, one brother Gerald L. Carr of Nashwaaksis, four grandchildren Corey Carr, Michael Morgan and the twins Matthew and Samantha Morgan. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by step-mother Florence Lacey. Visitation will be Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday from Brenan's Bay View Chapel at 2 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army, NB Heart and Stroke, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of donor's choice.
