DUNCAN, DONALD - The death of Mr. Donald A. "Donnie" Duncan, of Adelaide Street, Saint John, NB, loving husband of Beth (Sullivan) Duncan, occurred suddenly on Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at his residence. Born in Saint John, NB, he is the son of David Duncan and the late Georgina (Arbo) Duncan. Donnie was a very handy man, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had graduated from Saint John Vocational School. In years past, Donnie had been employed with various car dealerships as parts and service manager. At present, Donnie had been employed with District 8 as a bus driver, where he had also served as Union Shop Steward. Donnie was very fond of his dogs. Besides his father, David, and his cherished wife, Beth, Donnie is survived by two sons, Craig Duncan of Ontario, and Andrew Duncan (Shirley) of Saint John, three brothers, David W. Duncan (Marvel) of Saint John, Bob Duncan (Sandy) of Fairvale, and John Duncan (Linda) of French Village, two sisters, Gloria Griffen (Garry) of Toronto, ON, and Carol McAfee (Paul) of Kingston Peninsula, two grandsons, Drew Neathway and Jordan Duncan, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Donnie was predeceased by his mother, Georgina, and his brother, Ken. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2002 at 1:00 PM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel.
