SEARS, LOGAN - The death of Mr. Logan Sears of Ellerdale Street, husband of the late Florence May (Brown) Sears, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday August 15, 2002. Born in Sackville, NB he was the son of the late Hersey and Alice (Estabrooks) Sears. He had employed with CNCP Tele Communications for 40 years, and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Germain Street for 50 years. He is survived by one son Ted (Nancy) Sears of St. Martin's; three daughters Shelia Maguire of Saint John, Margaret Empey of Aylmer, Quebec, and Christina Sears of Oshawa, Ontario; Basil (Shirley) Sears of Sackville, NB; three sisters Selma Estabrooks of Moncton, Shirley Estabrooks of Sackville, and Marjorie Bice of Sarnia, Ontario; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Wardlow, Roddie, and Curley Sears. By request there will be no visitation. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Monday August 19, 2002 at 2 pm.
