91, Sydney It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Mary Daley which occurred Sunday June 15, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Fox Island, Guysborough County, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Julia (Haines) Daley. Mary is survived by her three daughters, Kaye MacNeil, Sydney, with whom she resided, Beryl (Francis) Boudreau, Enfield, Shirley (Joe) Doiron, Pomquet, Antigonish County; grandchildren, Michelle (Frank) Fillmore, Marion Bridge, Carolyn (Darren) Marsh, Prime Brook, who Mary lovingly helped raise, Kevin (Kelly) Boudreau, Enfield, Kelly (Roy) Dalrymple, Enfield, Lori (Doug) Benoit, Heatherton, Antigonish County, Julie Doiron, Sydney, and Rochelle (Tim) Fielding, Winnipeg. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren, Adam, Mackie, Denver, Riley, Logan, Morgan, Amber, Cheyenne and Zoe, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Annie Daley, Lena Horne, Elizabeth Kelly, Amelia Horne, brothers, Vincent, Levi and James Daley, son-in-law, Donnie MacNeil and two granddaughters in infancy. Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 18 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Star of the Sea Church, Canso. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 18 at 1 p.m. in the Star of the Sea Church with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Nova Scotia Lung Association. “Gran, we will not say ‘goodbye’. This is not the end.
