MacLELLAN, CHARLES VICTOR - The unexpected death of Mr. Charles Victor MacLellan of Wentworth St. Saint John, NB, beloved son of Mrs. Anne (MacBeth) MacLellan occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 21, 2002. Born in Pictou, NS, Charles was the son of Anne and the late Allister MacLellan. Charles was a graduate of the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton with a Masters of Political Science, he loved to read and to write poetry, he was an author, photographer, film director and a volunteer with "Right to Life" for several years. He worked for the National Film Board in Fredericton. Besides his mother, he leaves behind his son Anthony Desmond, Saint John, NB. Charles was also a loving brother to Peter (Patty) MacLellan, Bedford, NS and to his three sisters; Beanne (Mrs. Ralph Black), Saint John, NB, Allison (Mrs. Gordie Homer), Saint John, NB, and Deborah (David Menenghello) MacLellan, Prague, Czech Republic. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 12:00 noon from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Waterloo St., Saint John, NB.
