NELSON, ROBERT E. "BOBBY" - The death of Mr. Robert Earle "Bobby" Nelson, of Rothesay, NB, occurred on Sunday, September 1, 2002, at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Percy M. and Mary (Elliott) Nelson. Bobby loved music, and enjoyed playing the Banjo and the spoons. He enjoyed bowling, dancing and watching curling, but most of all he loved people. He will be sadly missed, by all who knew him. He is survived by three brothers, Ken Nelson (Joan) of Saint John, Burt Nelson (Sandra) of Rothesay and Carl Nelson (Cathy) of Saint John, three sisters, Connie Chase (Doug) of Saint John, Rene Smythe of Rothesay and Donna Logan of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Thomas Nelson, and brothers-in-law, Don Smythe and Bud Logan. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
