69, New Victoria It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Caroline La Tulippe on June 19, 2008, at the Glace Bay Health Care, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine (Fraser) MacSween. Caroline was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph’s CWL, New Victoria, N.S. Caroline is survived by companion, Bernie MacPhee; daughters, Elizabeth (Harry), Sheila (Stephen), both of New Waterford, Martha (Wilson), New Victoria, and Mary (Mamie), Georgetown, Ont.; sons, Eddie, Sydney, Claude (Debbie), Brampton, Ont., and Scott (Cathy), New Waterford; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Patsy (Paul), Bertha, both of Brampton, and Barbara (John), New Victoria; and brother, Claude (Shirley), New Victoria. Besides her father, she was predeceased by a special aunt, Bertha (Bea). Visitation will take place Sunday, June 22, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, N.S., 862-7500. A chapel service to celebrate Caroline’s life will be held Monday, June 23, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Cremation to follow, with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lingan, N.S.
