GALLANT, LEO JOSEPH - It is with great sadness the family of Leo Gallant of Nerepis announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 5, 2002 at the age of sixty after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Saint John son of Mary Colletta (Reid) Gallant and the late Joseph Gallant. He will be fondly remembered by his devoted wife Wanda (White) his loving daughters Cathy Arsenault (Leonce), Charlene Parker (Stephen), by his grandchildren Trevor, and Cherie Arsenault, Joshua, Travis and Austin Parker. By his side through his passing with his wife Wanda was his sister Rosemarie. Survived by his sisters Joan Fox (Jim), Dolores Rathburn (Richard), Rosemarie Ervin (Ralph), Joy Mott (Joe) and brother Hubert (Ellen) and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Leo made many lifelong friends through his work at Kimberly Clark, Dean's Meats and then Industrial Security before his illness, working with a great bunch of guys. He was a former member of the UCT and a twenty five year member of the legion. Leo will be remembered for his family camping, fishing trips and his love of country western music, taking up the fiddle in recent years. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at the "Fallsview" Chapel on Friday November 8, 2002 at 10 am. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Thursday November 7, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
