Passed suddenly away on Sunday, June 29th, 2008, Sidney Piercey of Heart's Content, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents Walter and Beatrice Piercey. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 47 years, Jean (nee Seward), three sons, Terry (Della), Dennis (Dallas) and Michael (Teena); four grandchildren, Michale, Brandon, Tyler and Kristen; brother Hayward (Annie); sisters Audrey, Marion (Paul), Blanche (Pat) and Winnie (Angie); sisters-in-law Lucy (Hilary) and Augusta; nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and an abundance of friends across Newfoundland and Labrador. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Thursday, July 3 at 3 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Heart's Content.
