BARBERY, JOHN "DAVID" - The death of Mr. John "David" Barbery of Fredericton, husband of Laura (McGlashen) Barbery, occurred peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2002. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John Douglas and Doris (Corbett) Barbery. David was a graduate of Moncton High School and received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Mount Allison University in Sackville. He worked at Canada Permanent and at Tractors and Equipment for 18 years. In addition to his loving wife of 30 years, David is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth, and son John, both of Fredericton; a sister, Anne Britten (Ellis) of Dartmouth, NS; an aunt, Grace Hayes of Saint John; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM from the Marysville Baptist Church, Rev. David DuBois will officiate, with interment in the Marysville Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
