Passed away suddenly but peacefully on June 29, 2008, Francis Singleton of St. Mary's, S.M.B., aged 93 years. Predeceased by first wife Ellen (1986), second wife Gertrude (2002), brothers Jack and Peter, sisters Rose and Elizabeth and grandson Scott Kevin (1978). Left to mourn with fond and loving memories one daughter Eileen (Doug) Bishop, Point La Haye; four sons: Gerald (Vivian), Edmonton, Kevin (Edna), St. Mary's, Alan (Marg), Grand Prairie, Eugene (Georgie), Grand Bank; special nieces: Donna, Barbara and Phyllis, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 2-4 p.m.; 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 1-4 p.m.; 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's.
