68, Sydney It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing Charlie Myers, on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, at the age of 68 years. Born in Sydney, on April 15, 1940, Charlie was a lifelong resident of Mira Road. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Catherine ‘Kay’ (Gerrow) Myers, of 30 years, Taigh Na Mara; sister, Derenda (John Carneigie); brothers, Danny (Sandra), Edward (Norma); stepsons, Johnny Billard (Mararet), Martin Billard, (Brenda), Clifford Billard, (Joan); also by his cherished grandchildren, Leah and ‘the dudes’. Also surviving are his niece, Christina Myers, Tracey Anton and greatniece, Kristen. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Katherine and Nelson Myers, sister, Nora Anton, and stepfather, Joe Roach. Charlie was well known and will be missed by all his friends. Visitation will take place Saturday, July 12, 2008, at S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday July 13, 2008, at the S.W.
