ALEXANDER (AL) MacDONALD

MacDONALD, ALEXANDER (AL) - The death of Alexander (Al) MacDonald, husband of Mary Madeline (Dempster) MacDonald, formerly of 19 Glen Road, occurred on December 26, 2002, at his residence, the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he was the son of the late Donald and Clara (Johnstone) MacDonald. He served during WW II with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. He was formerly employed with the DVA Hospital, Joseph A. Likely Ltd. and retired as caretaker for the Turnbull Family. He was a member of Full Gospel Assembly. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons David A. (Margaret) of Edmonton, ALBT, Rev. Kenneth E. (Annette) of Saint John, Paul D. (Tamara) of St. Albert, ALBT, his daughters Eileen D. Buckaway (Denny) of Morinville, ALBT, Marjorie E. MacPherson (Harry) of Saint John, his brother Charles (Daisy) of Monroe, NC, his sister Anna Stiles of Bayfield, NB, his eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Hugh, Donald and Simon and his sisters Irene, Ina, Dawnella, Mollie and Nettie. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2002, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Field of Honor.
