(nee Pike) Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, June 30, 2008, after a short illness, Elizabeth Wade of Mt. Carmel, one month short of her 99th birthday. Predeceased by her husband, John, May 1975, daughter, Eileen, January 1992. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are 4 daughters & 3 sons: Elsie, Carmel (Bill Gosse), Doris (Wayne Baker), and Ann, sons: Jim (Alice), Ed (Delores) & Mike (Theresa), 30 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, & 7 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Eileen Lewis, and the residents and caregivers of Riverside Country Manor, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Visitation on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 noon-9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 4, 2008 from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment will be in the family plot at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel. No flowers by request, donations in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish or to St. Joseph's Parish.
