Patricia 'Tish' German

Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we, the family announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister and friend Patricia ‘Tish’ German who passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the age of 55 at the Glace Bay Health Care Complex. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (McGean) Wall. Tish was a member of St. Anthony’s Church and was an employee with Stream Canada, Glace Bay. Tish was a kind, gentle and loving person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Frank; and son, Dennis. Also surviving are sisters, Elly (Frits) Bekker of the Netherlands, Delores, Marie (Wayne), Wilma (Wayne), Paula (Perry); brothers, Fred (Charmaine), Pat (Kathy), Gerald (Marlene) and Joey (Michelle), also a godchild, Natasha Gale, the entire German family from Montreal and many nieces and nephews, her dearest friends, Sharon and Lonnie Pye. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Lillian, Elaine and Elizabeth Ann, brother-in-law, Bill and nephew, Joey. Visitation will be in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, Glace Bay with Fr. Conrad Edwards officiating. Memorial donations in Tish’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
