Age 58 Mary Catherine Morin (MacDonald), 58, of Troy, Inverness County, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at home. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Roddie Eddie and Irene (King) MacDonald. Mary Catherine was a member of Stella Maris parish, Creignish, and a former member of St. Joseph’s parish, Port Hawkesbury. She was also an associate member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 43, Port Hawkesbury. Mary Catherine was employed by the Strait Regional School Board. She is survived by her husband, Ken; sons, David (Natasha), Haines Junction, Yukon, Robert, Antigonish, Mac, at home; sisters, Debbie (Rod) Campbell, Viola Daley, both of Fort McMurray, Alta.; brothers, Roddie (Delores), Steve, both of Port Hawkesbury; grandchildren, Emma, Joy, Eric, Tess. She was predeceased by brother, Robert, nephews, John Robert MacDonald and Adam Campbell. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., today (Friday, July 18) and 11 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Saturday, July 19 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 2 p.m., Saturday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Hugh D. MacDonald officiating. Burial in Stella Maris Parish Cemetery, Creignish.
