Roberta 'Bobbi' Ashley

50, Sydney Roberta Lynn ‘Bobbi’ Ashley, 50, Union Street, Sydney, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Glenda (Edwards) Drover and the late Robert Drover. Bobbi was employed as the manager of the drapery department at Fabricville, Sydney. Surviving are her husband, Perry; daughter, Julie (Paul Smith), Clarenville, N.L.; son, Benjamin (Kelly Peach), Halifax; mother, Glenda Drover, Sunnyside, N.L.; and brother, Derek, Halifax. Besides her father, Bobbi was predeceased by her brother, Scott. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Church of Christ the King at 2 p.m., Friday, July 25 with Rev. Fred Rhymes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
