SHERRARD, MILDRED ETTA - 1919-2003. The death of Mildred Sherrard occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday February 21, 2003 at the age of 83. Born in Whitneyville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Sarah (McKay) Hare. Survived by six daughters: Jean Sherrard of Halifax, NS; Edith (Mrs. Ambury Newman) of Miramichi, NB; Janice (Mrs. Doug Brodie) of Halifax, NS; Debra Sherrard of Fredericton, NB; Kelly Sherrard of Moncton, NB and Kimberly of Halifax, NS. Three sons: Keith (Sue), Fraser (Sylvia) and Jim (Jackie) all of Saint John, NB. One sister: Mrs. Lillian Waye of Miramichi, NB; eleven grandchildren: Andrea, Ryan, Sarah, John, Laura, Michael and Jessica Sherrard; Colleen, Heidi and Scott Newman; and Kathy Brodie; great grandson: Jonathan and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband William J. Sherrard; two sons: Kenneth Sherrard and Blair Hare; four sisters: Irene, Ella, Ada and Bernice and four brothers: Amos, Lorne, Perley and Irvine. Family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi Friday 7-9 and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Boom Road Pentecostal Church on Sunday, February 23, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Fred Williams officiating. Burial will take place in the Whitney Baptist Cemetery later in the Spring. For those who wish, Memorials may be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation or Memorial of ones choice.
