McSHEFFERY, JOSEPHINE T. - The death of Mrs. Josephine T. McSheffery of Rocmaura Nursing Home, widow of Edward McSheffery, occurred at her residence on Monday, February 24, 2003. Mrs. McSheffery was born in Johnville, a daughter of the late Elias and Bridget (Feeney) Shepherd, and had lived the greater part of her life in Saint John. She was pre-deceased by five brothers, John, Joseph, Vincent, Arthur, and James Shepherd; and four sisters, Sr. Edith Shepherd, Mary Seymour, Frances Connors, and Gertrude Kilfoil. She is survived by one son, Joseph (Elaine) of Winnipeg; one daughter, Sonja Towers (John) of Campbell River, B.C.; one sister, Annie McQuade of Saint John; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., from where the funeral will be held on Friday morning at 11:45 to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for Mass of Christian Burial at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Johnville, in the spring. Visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
