Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Burns) Daoust. Loving father of Marilyn Daoust-Savoie and her husband Jean of Summerland, British Columbia, Jacqueline Sykes and her husband Ross of Burlington, Claudette-Kit Tanouye and her husband Tom of Beamsville, Paul Daoust and his wife Roxanne of St. Catharines and Michèle Daoust of Vancouver, British Columbia. Loved grandfather of Jean-Paul, Stephane, Stephanie, Richard, Vanessa, Rebecca, Nicole, Kristin and Nicholas. Dear brother of Jacqueline Macdonald and her husband John of Ottawa, Reverend Sister Georgette Daoust of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Thérèse Daoust of Ottawa, and brother-in-law of Suzanne Daoust of Montreal. Predeceased by his brother Jacques Daoust. Georges-Claude was the past president of Club Alouette-Laval and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Visitation was held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington (905) 632-3333 on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 287 Plains Road East, Burlington, on Monday, February 24, 2003, at 10 a.m. Private interment.
