SCHARF, HAZEL BRENDA - The death of Hazel B. Scharf of Hampton, occurred March 2, 2003 at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. She was born in England, daughter of the late Walter and Molly (Birch) Epps. She was a resident of Hampton since 1960. Hazel was a member of R.A.F.; and adherent member of Hampton United Church, an active bowler and owned and bred harness racing horses. She is survived by Willard Scharf of Hampton, one daughter Brenda Patterson of Kingston; two sons, Phillip Scharf (Joanne) of Halifax, David Scharf (Debbie) of Tatamogouche; special companion, Herb Turner of Hampton; two sisters, three brothers, eight grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Cremation will be followed by a memorial service at Hampton United Church, Saturday, March 15, 2003 at 2:00pm. Memorials to N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
