SHERRARD, ZENA ANN - At her residence on March 12, 2003 Mrs. Zena A. Sherrard of Saint John West wife of the late Thomas Sherrard. Born in Middlesex, N.B., she was the daughter of the late George and Addie (Bannister) Lahey. Zena was retired from the D.V.A. Hospital and was a volunteer with the Red Cross during W.W.2. She was a life long member of Lancaster United Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter Heather Leary and her husband Gordon of Saint John West, one son Douglas Sherrard and his wife Brenda of Oak Point, one grandson Jason Leary of Hamilton, Ont., one great granddaughter Desirè Leavitt of Saint John and one nephew Brian Dykeman and his wife Shirley of Hoyt, N.B. Zena was predeceased by her husband Thomas and two sisters Florence Byers and Myrtle Dykeman. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at the "Fallsview" Chapel on Saturday March 15, 2003 at 1PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Donations to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. Following the service a reception will take place at the home of Heather and Gordon Leary 1149 Manawagonish Rd. Saint John West.
