STRONGMAN, MARY ELIZABETH - In her 101st. year, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Strongman, of St. John St. Stephen Home, wife of the late Mr. David Strongman passed away at her residence, Saturday, March 15, 2003. Born in Summerside, PEI she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Prisilla (Gaudet) DeRoches. Formerly of 77 Sewell St., Saint John, NB, Mrs. Strongman worked as a cook at the Fairport Motel in West Saint John for many years. She was a member of the Saint John Seniors' Club in the City Market and her passions included bingo and cards. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Strongman was predeceased by two sisters; Loretta Heckbert and Angeline Barrington. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Ben Kennedy of PEI and Marilyn Strongman of Saint John, NB. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at 2:15 p.m. with Rev.
