HARDING, ELIZABETH RUTH - Elizabeth Ruth Harding passed away after a brief illness at the Niagara Health System - Welland Site, Ontario, on Sunday March 23, 2003 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of Malcolm E. Harding (March 7, 1981). Cherished mother of Mildred (Millie) J. Smith of Welland and the late Albert (Bert) J. Harding (April 19, 1960). Precious Gramma of Kelly E. Tompkins (Peter) and precious great gramma of Alyssa and Julian Tompkins all of Thornhill, Ontario. Dear sister of George Burgess and sister-in-law of Helen Burgess. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Mary (Morton) Burgess and brother Harry Burgess (Sept. 25, 2002). Mrs. Harding was born in Calgary, Alberta, November 20, 1908.? Elizabeth moved to New Brunswick at the age of 4 years where she was a resident until August 1981 when she moved to Welland. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Thursday at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with service at 1:00pm. Interment in Lower Central Norton Baptist Cemetery, Bloomfield. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family.
