JED DOREN LEE
LEE, JED DOREN - Peacefully, surrounded by his family on March 23, 2003 at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB, Mr. Jed Doren Lee of St. George, NB, loving husband of Myrtle (Gaudet) Lee. Born in St. George, NB on June 23, 1915, he was a son of the late Harry and Gertrude (Noble) Lee. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jed is survived by five sons, Wayne (Janie), Carl (Diane), John (Debbie), Philip (Connie), and Leonard; two daughters, Linda (Brien) Titus, Nancy (Danny) Henry; fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Price of Oak Haven in St. Stephen; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ralph and Everett; three sisters, Sadie Holt, Louise Kernighan, and Celia Hoyt. Jed was a veteran of WWII serving overseas for five years. Following the war, he worked for the Department of Transportation as a Bridge Crew foreman for nearly forty years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #40, St. George, NB. By request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 2 pm. In Jed's memory, donations made to the Passamaquoddy Lodge or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
