REDGATE, DORA - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, March 29, 2003, Mrs. Dora Redgate of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 90 years. She was the wife of the late Sanford Redgate. Born at Drummond in 1912, she was the youngest child of the late Patrick Charles and Mary Almeda (McDonald) Toner. Mrs. Redgate was a long-time member and a past president of the Grand Falls Portage chapter of the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by her son, Vincent (Susan) of Bradford, Ontario, three grandsons, nine grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including McDonald Kelley (Pauline) of Halifax, who lived with the Redgates during his childhood years. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Margaret, Daniel, Alice, Mildred, Jane, Mary, John, Leo, Lina, Michael, Hughie, Mary and Elsie. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 1st at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption cemetery.
