MILTON (MUTT) IONA HATT

HATT, MILTON (MUTT) IONA - Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, on March 29, 2003, Mr. Milton Iona Hatt, husband of the late Josephine (Cook) Hatt of Letang, NB. Born in Letang, NB on December 28, 1913, he was a son of the late Samuel and Ida Mae (Leavitt) Hatt. Milton is survived by two brothers, Henry Hatt of Letang, Eldon Hatt of Cornwall, Ontario; four sisters, Annie (Allen) Whirty of Old Ridge, NB, Lillian Thorne of Canal, NB, Alberta (Hilton) Hanley of Back Bay, Geraldine Barry of Caithness, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pre-deceased by seven brothers and five sisters. Milton was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed working in his yard and in his woodshop. At his request, there is no visitation. A memorial service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Thursday at 3 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 2 pm till service time at the chapel. Interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. In Milton's memory, donations may be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements in the care of St. George Funeral Service Ltd.
