HEWITT, HAROLD ALTON - Harold Alton Hewitt passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at Sunrise Manor, Calais, Maine, Monday, March 31, 2003. Son of the late Hazen Hewitt and Myrtle (Johnson) Kinney. Husband of Evelyn (Young) Hewitt. Survived by his wife, two sons, Harold Arnold (Gayle) Hewitt, Darrell Kenneth (Alberta) Hewitt, one daughter, Linda Elaine (Wayne) Porter, two brothers, two sisters, 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main St., St. Stephen, N.B., (506-466-1844) where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2 PM., 2003. Visiting hours on Wednesday, April 2, 2003, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment in the RollingDam United Cemetery, RollingDam N.B.
