BRANSCOMBE, OLIVE MARY - Peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Versa Care, St. Catharines, Ontario. Olive Branscombe formerly of Saint John, New Brunswick. Beloved mother of David and his wife Marjorie, of Sheet Harbour, N.S., and Valerie Kravcik of St. Catharines, loving nana of Stephanie and Christopher of St. Catharines, dear sister of Edna and her husband Arthur of Lecanto, Florida and Phyllis and the late George of Grand Falls, Nfld., she is survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Pickford of Grand Falls, Nfld., her brothers John and Claude and her sister Margaret. She lived the greater part of her life in Saint John, N.B., she had been a long time member of R.C.L. Auxiliary, Branch 14, being an active member for many years. She had been employed with N.B.L.C. until her retirement in 1989. Mrs. Branscombe is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, Ontario where a funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 1 p.m. with interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations of donor's choice would be appreciated.
