Angus (Angie) Joseph McNeil

Oct. 26, 1949-June 19, 2008 It is with great sadness that we, the family of Angus Joseph McNeil, announce his sudden passing on June 19, 2008, after a lengthy illness. Born in Dominion, N.S., he was the son of Aletha (McKenzie) and the late Angus Joseph McNeil. Angus was the loving brother of Shirley DeDieu, Cathy Little, Margie Lissone (Malcolm), Gerard (Sharon), Hector (Marie) and predeceased brothers, David and Arthur. Angus moved to Toronto in 1968. He was a devoted husband to wife, Lynn (Marshall) and their home was in Beeton, Ont. Angus loved to golf, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his weekly card night at the legion. Angus will be fondly missed by sisters-in-law, Elaine McNeil, Lori Brewer, Susan Marshall and brother-in-law, Bob (Cathy) Marshall. A special spot will remain for him in the hearts of his Auntie Ethel (Mrs. Harvey Graham) and many nieces and nephews. Angus was predeceased by nephew, Paul McNeil, parents-in-law, Marguerite and Herbert Marshall and sister-in-law, Barbara Marshall. A memorial service will be held for Angus, Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Eugene’s Church. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment For someday that person will not be there.
