GOULD, GREGORY B. - The death of Gregory B. Gould, loving husband of Irene (Kennedy) Gould, of the Turnbull Nursing Home, formerly of Jardine Street, Saint John, occurred on Sunday April 20, 2003 at his residence. Born April 24, 1926 in Saint John, he was the son of the late John and Marion (Hanley) Gould. Gregory worked in the Crane Department at the Saint John Dry Dock for 50 years retiring in 1993. He was also a member of Stella Maris Church, Gregory enjoyed renovation projects, gardening and dancing. Besides his wife Irene, he is survived by his son Terry (Beth) Gould of Toronto; two daughters Barbara (Mark) Kliffer and Linda (Lance) Sutton both of Saint John; seven grandchildren Nikita and Dana Gould, Charles, Jody, Chelsea and Matthew Kliffer and Stephen Shannon. He was predeceased by son Blaine Gould. Following cremation, visitation will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial mass will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church on Thursday April 24, 2003 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to the Alzheimer's Society.
