Joseph Stanley 'Joe' Tomiczek

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we, the family announce the sudden passing of Joseph Stanley Tomiczek, Aug. 3, 2008, of Brantford, Ont., born in Cheticamp, and formerly of Glace Bay, N.S. Beloved husband of Clara Tomiczek (nee Poirier) for 30 years; dear father of Clarisse Berardicurti (Dan), Stacey (Rob) and Paul; proud grandfather of Ethan; son-in-law of Paul and Alice Poirier; dear brother-in-law of Paulette Timmons (Brian), Trenia Brophy (Scott), Clem Poirier, Philip Poirier, Cordell Poirier, Mark Poirier (Jody). Predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Frances Tomiczek and his brother, Terry. Joe was a very kind, gentle person and a good friend to all. Friends will be received at the Dennis Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford, Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly St., Brantford, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Cremation.
