JOYCE, GODFREY A. - Passed away May 8th, 2003. Born January 4th, 1913 in St. John, New Brunswick to Frederick J. Joyce and Mary Ann Fitzgerald. Moved to Vancouver, B.C. in 1962. He served more than 5 years in the Navy during WWII. He was a life member of Branch 177, Royal Canadian Legion. He enjoyed all sports, he delivered Meals-On-Wheels for about 18 years and was a good community volunteer worker. He was predeceased by his wife Emilia in 1997 and two brothers Justin and Cecil and one sister Mary Elna Gibbons. He leaves to mourn one sister Alma T. Joyce of St. John, New Brunswick and many nieces and nephews and many friends. Prayers will be held at St. Patrick's Parish Church (12th and Main), Vancouver on Monday, May 12th at 8:30 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 13th at 10:30 a.m. Followed by interment at the Gardens of Gethsemani.
