92, Sydney Olive Mae Mader, 92, of MacGillivray Guest Home, formerly of Mira Road, passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at the home. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Maynard and Bridget (Minnie) MacNeil Young. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary parish, Mira Road. Olive is survived by her four sons, Weldon (Sharon), Cobourg, Ont., Everett (Diane), Sydney, Doug (Helen), Mississauga, Ont., Robert (Judy), Sydney; four daughters, Beverly (Pat) and Paula (Gerry), Mississauga, Ont., Patsy and Eleanor (Edward), Sydney; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also by two sisters, Pauline Cook, Sydney, and Evelyn Williams, Ingonish. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin, granddaughter, Elizabeth and four brothers, Weldon, Everett, Roy and Ralph. Visitation will be held in Sydney Memorial Chapel Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass 11 a.m., Thursday, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Mira Road, with Rev. Gerald Dunphy officiating.
