MORDEN, WINNIFRED JEAN - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on May 14, 2003, Mrs. Winnifred Jean (Ellis) Morden, wife of John C. Morden of 239 McCarthy's Point Road, Pocologan, NB. Born in Saint John, NB April 17, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Gertrude M. (Sparks) Ellis. A loving wife and mother, she is survived, besides her husband, by one son, John (Gisele) Morden of Halifax, Nova Scotia and two grandchildren, Tracy and Scott Morden, also of Halifax, NS; one sister, Frances Leighton of Oromocto, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB, with visiting on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the Funeral Home, followed by interment in the Pennifield Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor's choice will be appreciated by the family.
