RICHARD, JANET M. - Baileyville. Janet M. Richard, 64, died May 13, 2003, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 17, 1938, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, the daughter of Beatrice (Moffatt) MacIntosh and the late James Lewis MacIntoch. She was a graduate of Milltown High School, Class of 1956, Janet graduated from Husson College in 1958, majoring in business. She was a communicant of St. James the Greater Roman Catholic Church of Baileyville. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert. In addition to her mother of St. Stephen, N.B., Janet is survived by her husband of 43 years, Norman of Baileyville; two daughters, Judith Marvin and her husband, Steve, of Orrington, and Cynthia Peterson and her husband, John, of Kennesaw, Ga. She is also survived by the joys of her life; her four grandchildren, Abigail, Christopher, Nicholas, and Megan. She will be remembered by two sisters-in-law, Rita McLaughlin and Gloria Lannigan; aunts and uncles from New Brunswick, many nieces and nephews, including a very special nephew, and his wife, Edward and Susan Richard and their children, Marty and Brad. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James the Greater Roman Catholic Church, Woodland, with the Rev. Frank Morin, celebrant. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery. Following the Mass and graveside services, a gathering of relatives and friends will be held at St. James Parish Hall.
