NORMAN PRITCHARD
PRITCHARD, NORMAN, CIB - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Norman Pritchard in his 79th year at Lakeridge Health Corporation in Oshawa on Friday May 16th, 2003. Veteran of the RAF, WW II, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 58, Rothesay, NB. Born in Liverpool, England, he immigrated to Canada in 1953 with his loving wife, Vera Pritchard (nee Green) by his side. They made there home in Montreal, QC, Saint John, NB and finally in Port Perry, ON. He will be sadly missed by his wife Vera of 54 years, his daughters Ann and her husband Brent of Uxbridge, Lesley of Oshawa and Gillian and her husband Dan of Saint John. Dear grandfather of Michael, Sarah, Justin, Mark, Luke, Adam and David. Lovingly remembered by his brother Gordon (Betty) and his sister in law Enid (Doug) and his nieces and nephews all of the UK. Norman was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Gertrude Pritchard and his son in law Matthew Simmons. Family and friends may call at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach St., Port Perry (905) 985-7331 on Wednesday May 21, 2003 from 1 until 2 P.M. A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 P.M.. Cremation will follow. Interment of cremains and a celebration of Mr. Pritchard's life will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Saint John N.B. on Monday May 26, 2003 at 2 P.M.. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
